The Seattle Seahawks were an expansion team in 1976 that is one of the few teams to play in both conferences, the AFC and the NFC, in pro football. Running back Sean Alexander and others helped this team reach their first Super Bowl ever in 2006, one that they would lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-10. Save a few injury marred seasons, the Seahawks have dominated their division and make regular playoff appearances.
